Production Artist

to take on an important role within our print and product teams, ensuring clean, accurate, production-ready artwork.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and has a strong command of preparing artwork for production.

Key Responsibilities

Create digital proofs and send them to customers for approval. Prepare final production-ready files using Adobe Illustrator. Maintain organized file management for all orders and production assets. Color-correct, clean up, and/or vectorize customer-supplied artwork to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Maintain awareness of turnaround times and prioritize workload accordingly.

Other Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with marketing to showcase new products and production methods. Research and recommend production preferences, machine settings, and file standards that align with company color guidelines and current market trends. Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of production art or related pre-press experience. Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator CC (PC environment). Understanding of apparel decoration methods such as heat transfer, screen printing, etc. Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Able to work independently while following established processes and instructions. Ability to work well within a team environment. Comfortable multitasking and assisting other departments as needed.

Desired Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop CC. Experience with heat transfer equipment, vinyl types, and automated/manual heat presses. Familiarity with current trends in garment graphics and the ability to design team-oriented designs. Photography and photo-editing skills for marketing or web use. Knowledge of embroidery processes and supporting file setups.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
