ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of this position provides daily, weekly, monthly and yearly production planning, ordering and inventory control of raw materials and fuels, and analysis and verification of plant production, inventories, and consumption of purchased materials to keep in-line with the budget.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Champion data integrity to ensure an efficient flow of inventory receipts and goods receipts through the SAP system
  • Oversee and assist with the administrative workflow, PR creation and management of inventory continuities.
  • Maintain vendor accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Support proper procurement and receiving of materials ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of requisitions
  • Maintain SAP & Basware workflow
  • Monthly GRIR reporting
  • Support weekly forecast & monthly accruals for fleet and/or plant maintenance
  • Support monthly inventory reconciliation to ensure adequate inventory levels to meet demand and assist with logistics, shipping and quality departments to drive loading and product performance.
  • When discrepancies arise, the production analyst works to resolve with area management to close gaps and make necessary system changes.
  • Assist with Avetta (and/or similar systems) compliance for RMX vendors as needed.
  • Maintains regular communication with vendors and internal procurement
  • Works closely with plant & fleet managers, area managers, and operations manager to resolve raw material issues.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, keeping leadership informed of task progress and adjusting workload based on changing priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor degree
Field of Study Preferred: Process, or Chemical Engineering
Required Work Experience: Understanding of the cement and/or similarly related industry regarding metrics and technical reports
Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
