Job Description

Supervise employees and product, overseeing receipt, storage and distribution of products to ensure availability. Lead team, implement inventory control processes, analyze sales data to adjust stock levels, maintain accurate records and use inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Oversee the entire inventory process, including receiving, storage, and shipping of products.

Team Leadership:

Lead and supervise an inventory control team, ensuring employes are trained in procedures and best practices.

Process Optimization:

Develop and implement inventory control processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure compliance.

Data Analysis & Forecasting:

Analyzes sales patterns and inventory data to forecast demand, adjust stock levels and prevent stockouts and overstocking

Record Keeping:

Maintain and update records of inventory quantities, quality, and values.

Quality Control:

Ensure products meet quality standards and are stored and handled safely.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

5 plus years' experience in inventory management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.

Other Skills:

Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills are crucial for managing complex operations. Knowledge of WISHA/OSHA safety regulations.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP inventory systems and software.

Desired Qualifications

Experience:

5 plus years' experience in a metal fabrication or machining industry.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills:

experience with Epicor and Syteline software.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
