Product Program Manager



Role Description: The Product Program Manager is accountable for planning, organizing and managing the Girl Scout Spirit of Nebraska annual Fall Product and Cookie Programs to meet revenue, participation and average sales per girl goals for a designated area of the council as budgeted by fiscal year. This role will be managing the territory of Northeast Nebraska. This includes Platte County and the surrounding areas.

Key Accountabilities



1. Meet Girl Scout Cookie Program sales and participation goals as budgeted. Meeting expectations at or better than 95% of total goal.

2. Meet Fall Product Program gross revenue and participation goals as budgeted. Meeting expectations at or better than 95% of total goal.

3. Provide customer service to volunteers, parents, staff and vendors.

a. Recruit, train and manage the volunteer staff supporting product programs. This includes product sales coordinators, cupboard managers, and distribution volunteers. Retain 75% of volunteers from previous year's program. Fall Product to be completed by September. Cookie Program is to be completed by December.

b. Work with Membership and Troop Support to maximize participation in product programs by identifying and contacting troops that may qualify for participation. Maintain and disseminate product program materials. Fall Product to be completed by September. Cookie Program to be completed by February.

c. Provide evaluation opportunity to volunteers at the end of the cookie program. Evaluations must include a question rating the customer service of the product program staff member in their area. Product Program Director will review all evaluations. To be completed by June.

4. Review and revise policies, procedures, paperwork and training content prior to the start of each program. Fall product to be completed by July and Cookie program by October.

5. Actively participate in one-on-one and staff meetings, alert management when issues arise that prevent meeting deadlines and goals and provide information and assistance to management in identifying ways to continuously improve work processes of the department. Work cross-functionally and collaboratively in a positive and supportive manner.

Qualifications



Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales program coordination, volunteer management, or inventory logistics, preferably with youth-serving organizations.

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue and participation goals (95% or higher).

Proven ability to plan, execute, and evaluate annual product sales programs, including budgeting, goal tracking, and revenue reporting.

Strong organizational skills

Experience analyzing sales performance data and identifying strategies for improvement.

Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, supervise, and retain a large network of volunteers.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with volunteers, parents, staff, and vendors.

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve conflicts, and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proactive problem solver who alerts management to challenges and proposes solutions.

Commitment to organizational goals and the mission of empowering girls through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak program periods.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within assigned council area.

Must successfully complete a background check as required by Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.
