AGENCY SUMMARY

The Service Oklahoma (SOK) mission is to ease the stress in navigating government services by providing a best-in-class customer experience. We are Oklahomans helping Oklahomans by providing driver license and motor vehicle services on behalf of the state.



This position has an annual rate of $77,000.00.



The Service Oklahoma offers a generous benefits package, including a benefits allowance to off-set the costs of medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans. The Service Oklahoma will match up to 7% towards an employee's Defined Contribution retirement plan. Our employees receive 11 paid holidays, 15 days of paid annual leave, which increases with every 5 years of service, and 15 days of paid sick leave. Additionally, employees will receive longevity payments based on their years of service with the State of Oklahoma.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Manager is responsible for owning the strategy, development, and delivery of products within a defined subdomain of the state agency portfolio. The PM works closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure products meet user needs, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by the employee assigned to this position. It should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all required duties, responsibilities and skills.Maintains the product lifecycle for assigned subdomain(s): from discovery and requirements gathering to launch and iteration. Develops and maintains product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with domain-level strategy and organizational goals. Collaborates with engineering, design, operations, and external partners to deliver high-quality products. Gathers and analyze user feedback, data, and market trends to inform product decisions. Defines and track product metrics to measure success and inform continuous improvement. Communicates product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels. Ensures compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards. Develops, mentors, and provides leadership to Product Owners, fostering their growth and ensuring alignment with product goals.

This position may be expected to cross-train in other sections of their division and perform the job duties in each section, based on the needs of the agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESDemonstrates ability to manage products from concept to launch. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience with agile methodologies and user-centered design. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
The preferred minimum qualifications for this position are: An Bachelor'sDegree in Business, Computer Science, Public Administration, OR4 years of experience in product management, or a closely related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSThe schedule for this position may vary and require flexibility, including some early or late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime, based on the needs of the agency. This position will not require travel. This position is not eligible for telework. This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. This position requires employees to be able to stand up to eight hours a day and lift 10-50 pounds on a regular basis, with assistance as needed.
