Overveiw
To lead the design and development of apparel products from concept through production--ensuring design quality, accurate technical execution, clear supplier communication, and on-time delivery.
Core Responsibilities
1. Design & Creative Development
Concept and design apparel graphics, garment silhouettes, trims, and product forms.
Create production-ready mockups, flat sketches, and artwork files.
Translate creative ideas into accurate and organized tech packs.
2. Product Development & Tech Pack Management
Build and maintain tech packs including measurements, specs, fabrics, trims, print placements, construction details, and BOMs.
Manage revisions through sampling and production cycles with proper version control.
Oversee seasonal product development and BMP product updates.
3. Sample & Fit Process
Lead sample fittings and revision sessions; document measurements, fit notes, and changes.
Ensure all feedback is translated into updated tech packs and communicated clearly to suppliers.
Approve final samples for bulk production.
4. Supplier & Production Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for factories, suppliers, and print partners (e.g., Golden Press).
Submit files, confirm purchase orders, track sampling, production timelines, and delivery dates.
Follow up on delays, clarify questions, and ensure products meet brand quality standards.
5. Project & Launch Coordination
Manage multiple product timelines from concept to launch.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and inventory teams for launch readiness.
Maintain organized design files, approvals, supplier communications, and order records.

Apparel graphic & fashion design

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
