Our Product Development team plays a central role in shaping the textiles that bring warmth and comfort into our customers' homes--from cozy bedding and bath to thoughtfully made pillows, rugs, and linens. We're growing and looking for someone who's as passionate about fibers, textures, and quality as we are.


As a

Product Development Associate (Textiles)

,

you'll support the development of our soft goods assortment. This role is perfect for someone with a background in

textiles, apparel, home product development, or fabric sourcing

--especially someone who has studied textiles or materials science, or has experience with fabric development in apparel or home.


Depending on your level of experience, you'll either own specific product categories

or

assist senior developers and designers

in bringing designs from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:



Product Development

Assist

in the development of new bedding, bath, pillow, linen, and rug products Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sourcing, merchandising, and creative to keep projects on track Maintain seasonal trackers, product development calendars, and PLM systems Prepare and track SKUs, specs, and sample information across categories

Comfortable managing a SKU-intensive category with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Review lab dips, handlooms, strike-offs, and samples to ensure quality and aesthetic alignment with our brand Maintain physical and digital sample libraries, swatch cards, and development records

Fabric & Material Specialization

Evaluate fabric performance, construction, and finishes, especially for durability and hand-feel Partner with sourcing to identify new textile mills and fabrications that align with our quality standards Support vendor communication to ensure textiles meet both design and functional standards

Communicate clearly and effectively with global vendors, including navigating language barriers

Contribute to testing and compliance processes for soft goods

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as a point of contact for questions about textiles for the Fulfillment, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams Coordinate with the Visual Styling and Creative teams to ensure sample availability for photoshoots and launches Attend or support sample reviews, pass-offs, and product approvals

What You'll Bring:



4+ years of experience in product development, apparel/textile design, or sourcing for soft goods A background or degree in

textile design, materials science, product development, or a related field

Deep understanding of fibers, weaves, finishes, and textile performance

Deep understanding of the full product development lifecycle, from concept through production.

A love of design, craftsmanship, and quality--combined with strong organizational skills A collaborative communicator with strong follow-through and attention to detail Comfortable working in Google Workspace, Excel, and PLM systems (experience with Backbone or Airtable is a plus)

Able to review and approve top-of-production (TOP) samples for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to approved standards

This role is based in Utah. Due to the hands-on nature of the role including the handling of initial, revised, and TOP samples, and coordinating sample handoff to Visual Styling for photoshoots, candidates must be located in Utah or willing to relocate.
