What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Product Delivery Lead within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Payables line of business and will play a leadership role in our Agile Scrum team to ensure that features and enhancements are delivered on-time, in-scope and of high quality. This Product Owner will lead our Agile scrum team and should have a working knowledge and understanding of the accounts payable, various payment modalities, and system integration. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Product Delivery and regularly collaborate with the Scrum team.

Role Responsibilities



The responsibilities of the role will include:



Acting as the final decision maker for system feature implementation, accountable for delivery outcomes, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Playing a leadership role across multiple Scrum teams, ensuring capabilities are in-scope, on-time, and of high quality. Participating in all scrum ceremonies including standups, planning, review, and retrospectives. Managing up-to-date release pipelines, time, and costs while supporting other Product Owners in doing the same. Setting and aligning short-term delivery targets based on priorities, ensuring consistency across teams, and supporting Product Owners to achieve them. Validating QA and Production Deployments in conjunction with IT and guiding Product Owners in adopting best practices for release readiness. Partnering with stakeholders, Scrum teams, and the Product Management Group to adjust priorities and expectations in order to maximize business value delivered. Translating product directives into backlog items and coaching Product Owners on effective backlog management and prioritization techniques. Reviewing, refining, and approving backlog items with clear acceptance criteria, while supporting others in writing and prioritizing user stories. Driving alignment across Product Owners to ensure consistent use of frameworks (e.g., Gherkin) for acceptance criteria and trade-off management. Serving as a key source of external information for Scrum teams, offering clarity on capability scope, intended customer value, and requirements while ensuring other Product Owners are equipped to do the same. Effectively communicating product release contents and expected product capabilities/behavior to internal and external stakeholders, while mentoring others on communication best practices. Coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to other Product Owners to strengthen their delivery skills, product knowledge, and leadership effectiveness. Acting as a role model for Agile best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the Product Owner community.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant Product Owner or Product Manager experience, with leadership exposure. Demonstrated experience coaching or mentoring peers, ideally across multiple teams. Excellent project delivery skills with proven success in cross-functional and cross-team collaboration. A Bachelor's degree, with a preference for Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting, or Finance. CSPO is nice to have but not mandatory. MBA or PMP is nice to have but not mandatory. Experience in international or domestic payments, fintech, or similar industries. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation/collateral) with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor peers. Software release management experience is a significant asset. Proven record of high-level productivity and leadership impact. Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or similar) preferred. Experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams is an asset. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering value. Results-oriented mindset with an ability to drive accountability across teams. Strong leadership with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire other Product Owners. Extremely high sense of responsibility and ownership. Deep working knowledge of development best practices and Agile SDLC. Strong problem-solving, creative solutioning, and decision-making skills. Data-driven mindset with the ability to guide teams toward evidence-based product decisions. Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on product ownership responsibilities.

At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $140,000-$150,000.
