Q Center is looking for a Full Time Producer, Live Production Meetings & Events to join our team!
Job Summary
The Producer will lead live events through its life cycle from conception through post event closeout. The Producer is responsible for developing and maintaining productive relationships with the client through the discovery, design, and delivery process. The role is collaborative between client stakeholders, Q Creative team members, and internal Q Center department partners. A successful Producer will combine their creativity, project management, and collaborative skills to deliver a flawless event, meeting the client goals and exceeding their expectations.
This position is on-site, with a schedule that may include evenings and weekends, generally a 45 hour workweek.
Starting rate for this position is $60,000/year.

Education & Experience:
Four-year degree in Communications, Event Production, Theatre, or a related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of live event production and/or project management experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrate problem solving skills with ability to quickly resolve issues.
Proficient at MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
Proficient in presentation graphics (PowerPoint/Keynote), web broadcast (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
Knowledgeable in theatrical technical staging (audio, video, lighting, and scenic).
Familiar with additional platforms such as Adobe Creative and 3DMAX (proficiency with a plus).
Physical Requirements
This is a 100% in-person role at Q Center.
Weekends, evenings, and long hours are sometimes required.
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time.
Average amount of lifting of +/- 25lbs.
Fundamental Requirements
Serve as the primary client contact through project life cycle.
Support the sales process through proposal development and client consultation.
Focus on client's program objectives and audience experience.
Ask focused questions with the ability to quickly understand the client's creative, strategic, and logistical goals.
Develop, track, and reconcile project budgets, managing project margin to contribute to Q Center's profitability.
Schedule space, equipment, and people (both staff and freelance) to meet project needs and ensure optimum use of internal resources; ensure schedule information is communicated to production team.
Lead the graphic design and video editing process to produce finished products that meet or exceed client expectations.
Create production schedules and show flows to efficiently manage live events.
Manage production teams, client content assets, and show flows during delivery of events.
Review and approve vendor invoices and process project billings.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge, staying abreast of the latest trends and meeting evolving needs.
Assist with the set up and operation of scenic, lighting, audio, and video equipment when needed.
Ability to conduct a professional, thorough site presentation of Q Creative offerings with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits.
Participate in knowledge sharing and mentor others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
