Job Title: Rail Transportation Professional
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Hybrid schedule (3 days in the office).
The Logistics Specialist will assist with supply chain activities required to bring products and ingredients into contracted warehouses, vendors, plants, or direct to customers. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing documentation and systems entry for timely, cost-effective flow of products and ingredients.
• Supporting order and shipment changes, making decisions to minimize costs and maximize profits/services.
• Executing specialized transportation and logistics activities, including material resource planning, claims, customer service, and customer order contracts.
• Facilitating shipments, processing purchase and sales contracts, internal and external purchase orders, and invoices.
• Performing data entry and updates using ERP systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Resolving basic issues and recommending cost-beneficial freight movement improvements.
• Scheduling, arranging transportation, managing inventory, and reporting shipments.
• Supporting inbound raw materials and finished goods movements, transportation capacity planning, vendor/warehouse management, and import shipments.
• Escalating complex issues while managing basic ones under direct supervision.

Must-haves:

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation.
• Preferably a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in rail-related movement support.
