You will be responsible for maintaining our current portfolio and developing new sources of supply, negotiating short-term agreements, and implementing supply chain improvements to provide commercial advantage and ensure security of supply.
What You'll Be Doing:

Communicate regularly with relevant internal customers on supply status and market prices and trends for materials including Croda Affiliates
Negotiate pricing and terms for a portfolio of materials, packaging, and services to deliver value to the company
Final approval/decisions are taken by the line-manager, Technology, Quality, SHE
Engage with production, operations, warehousing, quality, product assurance, sample center, supply chain and customer service departments to coordinate product flow & solve common problems
Actively solve minor and standard problems arising from suppliers and propose solutions to the line manager for major issues
Lead on non-conformance complaint resolutions
Develop and implement purchasing processes and supply chain improvement activities to improve responsiveness and reduce overall costs
Maintain a "technical window" to stay informed about new technologies and solutions for the site
Maintain supplier relationships and support the site with any technical or service issues as the owner of the supplier relationship
Ensure all SAP master data is maintained, including prices, lead times, delivery terms, payment terms, supplier approvals, and purchasing specifications
Make decisions related to day-to-day departmental operations
Refer long-term or strategic decisions to the line manager and Technology, Quality, and SHE for discussion and execution
This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Perform all duties within the Company's safety, health & environmental regulations. All other duties as assigned by management.
Who We're Looking For:

BS or BA Degree is required, a degree in Supply Chain or Business as well as purchasing certifications a plus.
Knowledge of SAP is highly preferred.
Good communication skills, work well in a team, have excellent planning and organizational skills, good work accuracy and have excellent attention to detail. Must have oral & written proficiency in the English language.
An ability to communicate with and influence a wide range of contacts both internally and externally is beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Proficient typing skills.
