Responsibilities:

Oversee procurement activities including purchasing, contract management, and materials management to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Conduct category management analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement spend across manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain functions. Collaborate with production planning teams to align procurement schedules with manufacturing timelines and inventory requirements. Perform supply chain risk assessments, develop sourcing strategies, and implement logistics solutions to enhance supply chain resilience.

Experience

Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or industrial environments. Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation, supplier management, and category sourcing strategies. Understanding of supply chain management principles including logistics, pricing strategies, quality management, and materials handling. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on supply issues and develop effective solutions. Effective communication skills for negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships across diverse categories. Proven experience in inventory management.
