OVERVIEW

Suns Procurement Analyst is an important part of Suns procurement process and initiatives through the support of purchasing and financial settlement activities and data analysis, as well as miscellaneous projects and administrative support duties. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for inputting and gathering data, communicating with suppliers and Sun team members, tracking shipments, assisting with identifying cost savings opportunities and implementing process improvements. The Procurement Analyst is operationally minded and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

JOB DUTIES

• Supports Suns fleet program by ensuring Sun team members and Suns fleet service provider have the information needed to support acquisition and payment activities.
• Analyzes spend data to identify and quantify sourcing opportunities/accomplishments.
• Provides general administration of various Sun supplier programs and initiatives, such as consolidation projects and analyzing spend data.
• Assists in building relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Supports Sourcing Managers with data mining and analysis.
• Leads designated supplier relationships and programs including presenting data to suppliers, and ensuring that they are meeting requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Serves as a liaison between designated Sun and procurement partners, including working to identify expanded opportunities for innovation, partnerships, rebates and programmatic development.
• Tracks shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business (Required)
• 1 year experience with data analytics
• General knowledge of Supply Chain/Sourcing Process (preferred).
• Advanced excel skills.
• Analytical mindset able to solve problems effectively and creatively with little supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A conscientious self-starter with a work attitude the exhibits flexibility, initiative, good judgment and dependability.
• Advanced computer proficiency with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience operating within and/or administering procurement technology (preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills.
