Overview



Under the direction of the Process Technician Team Lead , th is individual manufactures produc t for use by customers by performing the following functions: 1 ) loads product for customer shipment; 2 ) unloads incoming raw materials on the barg e . Work overtime as needed and respond to call-ins to work when the plant require s .



Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required .

Experience:

1-2 years in an industrial environment required .

Knowledge:

Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication .

Behaviors:

Individual must be self-motivated and have initiative to work as an empowered team with on-site employees to operate a safe and efficient plant, maximize production and reduce costs.



Essential Functions



Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.



Operates computer-controlled processes.



Operate forklift, front-end loader, and material handler as required .



Maintains equipment through preventive maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair work.



Assists maintenance in projects, equipment repair/troubleshooting, etc. as required. Initiates requests for maintenance.



Troubleshoot process problems and implement process improvements.



Monitors operation of Dust Control equipment.



Must be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and holidays.



Must be able to climb stairs & ladders and not have a fear of heights.
