Process Technician IV \xe2\x80\x93 2nd shift

Summary

Has advanced and specialized expertise in an analytical/scientific method or operational process, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Completes assignments and facilitates the work activities of others; may coordinate work beyond own area. Proposes improvements to processes and methods. Acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but is not a supervisor. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepares wafers for experimentation to include cleaning. Loads wafers, prepares reactor for experimentation and cleans reactors. Operates reactor to perform etch process. Recommends performance of process system and troubleshooting.

- Prepare cross section samples for scanning electron microscope (SEM) and TEM, including cutting, mounting coupons, cleaning, coating and submission

- Records process conditions and experimental observations. Evaluates wafers and coupons, including modification of the process recipes.

- Prepares graphs and tables summarizing results.

- Coordinates with process engineers on wafer evaluations. Sets up equipment for experiments.

Uses quantitative wafer evaluation and process instrumentation knowledge to draw conclusions from data. Assists in training lower level technicians.

- Develop and publish best known method (BKM) procedures including, sample prep, and special sample handling.

Knowledgeably operates laboratory process equipment and instrumentation.

U.S. Salary Range: $33.20 - $45.60

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
