The Process Operator V troubleshoots process problems during production. They also maintain production equipment and review data to ensure product quality.
The Masking position plays a critical role in Frontgrade's manufacturing and finishing operations. This position is responsible for accurately masking components prior to painting or coating to ensure strict adherence to specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and takes pride in producing high-quality work that supports customer mission success.
Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:





Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and masking specifications to determine required masking procedures Apply masking tape, plugs, caps, and other protective materials to designated areas using hand tools or masking equipment Inspect components for cleanliness, surface defects, and overall condition prior to masking Ensure precise and consistent masking to prevent coatings from reaching unapproved surfaces Remove masking materials after the painting or coating process, ensuring clean edges and no damage to parts Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area Identify and report defects, damaged parts, or process irregularities to the supervisor immediately Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

What We're Looking For:

A strong eye for detail and a steady hand for precision work. Interest in aerospace, defense, or mechanical processes. Ability to read or willingness to learn how to interpret mechanical drawings. Dependability and a desire to grow in a skilled trade.



Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

High School (High school diploma) or GED 5 plus years experience Previous experience in manufacturing, painting, coating, or masking operations Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and specifications Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law. Pay Range:

25.00 - 31.00 hourly

. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
