The work schedule for this position is

2nd shift

. As our plant operates

24/7

, the Process Mold Technician may be required to work

weekends

based on business needs. In the future, this role will transition to a

12-hour rotating shift

.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain injection molding machines. Set up, troubleshoot, and repair molds and related equipment. Perform mold setups, changeovers, and startups for efficient production. Inspect, clean, and maintain molds to ensure quality and tool life. Ensure proper alignment, venting, cooling, and ejection systems are functional during mold installation. Identify and resolve issues such as flashing, short shots, or damage. Conduct quality checks to verify product specifications.

Qualifications

HSD or GED required. Experience in injection molding processes. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems preferred. Ability to read and interpret production documentation and specifications. Basic math and measurement skills. Forklift operation a plus. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or rotating shifts.
