Job Description

We are seeking a Process / Mechanical Engineer for a contract-to-direct assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
** This position has a pay rate of $41 - $62.50/hr **
** This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Boise **
Responsibilities
- Your primary duty will be to edit client specifications and standards, review design packages consisting of P&IDs, layout drawings, details and equipment plans followed by review of vendor submittals, RFIs and construction documents
- Design and oversight for piping for equipment water, wastewater, process chemicals and gasses in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet; The design may include retrofit of existing building systems including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years experience in chemical/mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems
- 2+ years of design project delivery experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to conduct site visits and field walks
