About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Continuous Improvement Lead to champion operational excellence and quality enhancement initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of systems to optimize production processes, utilizing your expertise in lean manufacturing and statistical process control. Your contributions will directly impact efficiency, reduce non-conformances, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Spearhead the design and deployment of quality procedures and systems to elevate manufacturing standards. Analyze process flow diagrams, heat and material balances, and piping and instrument diagrams to identify areas for optimization. Provide expert technical insights for root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions to resolve quality issues and address customer feedback. Maintain meticulous documentation of technical information, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to ensure seamless information flow and project alignment. Proactively identify and implement measures to prevent quality non-conformances across product, process, and systems. Generate comprehensive reports using CRM, Syteline, and statistical data to inform decision-making and track progress.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred). 3-5 years of experience in quality management within a lean manufacturing setting, leading continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in standard work and quality systems documentation and management. Expertise in value stream mapping, visual management, 5S, and variation reduction Kaizen methodologies. Strong working knowledge of statistical process control methods and software systems.

Preferred Skills

Black Belt/Six Sigma certification. Experience with material pull systems and total production maintenance. Knowledge of error-proofing techniques. * Demonstrated ability to partner with plant management teams and hourly staff to drive quality improvements.
