Position Description:
Day Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Position will support the Process Engineering team to complete a variety of tasks. Both hands-on and computer work will be required with a focus delivering value through data driven decision making. Assist team in understanding current processes operators are following, updating SOPs and/or recipes, and help facilitate work related to waste reduction efforts. Assist in transitioning to SPC tracking of tags throughout the plant and correlation of data to waste variance on products.

The Engineering Department supports a 24 hour, five days a week operation consisting of three shifts. Employee must be flexible to work a varied schedule concerning hours/days/overtime, if needed, in a fast paced environment to support business needs.
Essential Functions:
Assists in the collection and merging of data to present process parameters in a concise manner. Updates SOPs, recipes, and works with operators to ensure process is defined sufficiently for consistent interpretation to produce high quality product.
Supports various tasks associated with testing and validating methodologies used to ensure equipment and/or product is performing within acceptable limits. This will include developing test methodologies, documenting procedures, and creating reports as needed.
World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and other continuous improvement team support.
Assists in the completion of new material requests (MRATs) including initiating BOM changes and SOP creation.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
High School Diploma with three to five or more years of relevant technical work experience or Associates degree in technical field with with at least one year of relevant technical work experience - Required
Two-year degree- Preferred
Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Will substitute for equivalent work experience. - Required
Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and MS PowerPoint- Required
Demonstrated ability to complete testing in both laboratory and industrial settings.- Required
Display high mechanical aptitude- Required
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and basic electrical schematics. -Required
Interpret and execute global standards (ASTM, ISO, OEM automotive) and internal standards (SOPs, Work Instructions, and Quality documents). -Required
Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical information, oral and written, in English- Required
Document Control/Retention knowledge.- Preferred
Knowledge of Saint-Gobain Granville products and specifications.- Preferred

per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location/geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to
10%
of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures.
The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate and Bonus annualized (

$58,500 to $74,900.
