Incobrasa is a soybean processing and biodiesel manufacturing company in Central Illinois with roots in the industry going back over 50 years. With a long company history focused on agriculture, our business efforts expanded from Brazil to the United States in 1982. We process soybeans. Year-round, all day, every day. Our process and systems are cutting edge, consisting of our shipping & receiving facilities, high-volume grain dryer, 8 concrete 190,000 bushel silos and multiple facilities including soybean preparation, oil extraction, refinery, food-grade oil packaging and biodiesel production. We have a long-standing relationship with our suppliers of soybeans. Our soybeans are sourced from a number of local elevators and suppliers in Illinois and surrounding states.

Animal Feed. Animal feed made from soybeans is the most important protein source used to feed farm animals. As a soybean processor, large quantities of soybean meal and soybean hull pellets are produced as a by-product of oil extraction. Vegetable Oil. Incobrasa operates a state-of-the-art packaging and labeling facility that features various production lines of bottled and canned vegetable oil. Biodiesel. Incobrasa is a member of the National Biodiesel Board. We are BQ-9000 and RFS certified, with an annual production capacity of 44 million gallons. Biodiesel is a renewable biofuel that is clean-burning and offers a replacement or supplement to regular diesel fuel.

Barge- Pekin, IL



Incobrasa recently acquired a barge operation in Pekin. Grain barge operation is a vital component of the agricultural supply chain, facilitating the efficient transportation of bulk grain.

We receive, store, and transport Soybeans and Corn. Our corn capacity is 1,200,000 bushels, and our soybean capacity is 1,400,000.

About the Role:




The Process Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the efficient and safe operation of agricultural processing plants. This position ensures that all processes run smoothly by monitoring equipment, conducting sampling, and adhering strictly to safety and OSHA compliance standards. The role requires working a 12-hour rotating shift, which demands flexibility and reliability to maintain continuous plant operations. The Process Assistant collaborates closely with team members to adjust and operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality control throughout the production cycle. Applicants recruited for this role will begin as Process Assistants. Once assigned to a specific building, you will start training in that assistant role. Within the production buildings, positions include Assistants, Assistants-in-Training, and Operators. Our production areas include Dryer & Cleaner, Prep, Extraction, Biodiesel, Boiler, and Refinery.

Minimum Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a process plant or similar industrial environment. Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts reliably. Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in soybean processing is preferred. Safety training or process operations. Familiarity with process control systems and equipment. Demonstrated ability to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Additional training in quality control or laboratory sampling techniques. Assisting with shutdowns, startups, and equipment cleaning Observing process data and making adjustments as needed

Responsibilities:



Operate and adjust processing equipment to maintain optimal production flow and quality. Conduct regular sampling and testing of products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Observe and enforce all safety procedures and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Work a 12-hour rotating shift, ensuring consistent plant coverage and operational continuity. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding process status, issues, and improvements. Willingness to work in areas with heat, noise, and industrial equipment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment Basic mechanical aptitude

The required skills are essential for daily operations, as the Process Assistant must consistently observe safety procedures and OSHA compliance to ensure a hazard-free workplace. Proficiency in adjusting and operating equipment allows the assistant to maintain smooth production flow and quickly respond to any operational issues. Sampling skills are used to collect and analyze product samples, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. Strong written and verbal communication abilities facilitate clear reporting and coordination with team members and supervisors, which is vital during shift changes and troubleshooting. Working a 12-hour rotating shift requires adaptability and stamina, enabling the assistant to maintain focus and productivity during extended work periods.



2:45 am until 3:15 pm & 2:45 pm until 3:15 am

You would work 7 days out of 14 days.
