Job Description

As a

Process Analyst

you will be responsible for analyzing and designing software development processes and presenting recommendations for process improvements. In addition, the incumbent will organize, develop and deliver new processes, training and status reports.

This is a hybrid position in West Des Moines, IA and required to be in office at least 1 day per month.


Essential Functions



You will organize and facilitate the collection of software development process information and produces process maps of current development processes. Reviews, documents, analyzes and audits software development processes, procedures, and criteria for compliance with Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Designs and assists in presenting recommendations for changes to processes. You will coordinate the establishment, maintenance, collection, and distribution of timeline reports to external and internal recipients. Reviews timelines and supporting documentation for accuracy, analyzes updates, and resulting delivery schedule impacts to management. Generates periodic summary reports for management. You will assist in the development of procedures, changes, and tools to improve the documentation (i.e. process maps, guides, manuals) of the organization's software development processes. Develops and implements a training program for internal/external staff on current, modified or new processes. You will serve as a resource to team members by researching and solving process issues. You will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements



Four year degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience 1+ year experience in process management. Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship. Because of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essential.

Preferred Skills and Certifications



CMMI experience, Atlassian experience (Confluence and Jira), SharePoint, Project Management, Business Process Management a plus Degree in Information Systems preferred
