Joint Health Solutions is a brand new privately owned joint injection clinic opening soon in the north Charlotte area. We are seeking a warm and personable Medical Assistant to welcome into the Joint Health Solutions family!

Responsibilities

Greeting patients and their family members. Scheduling appointments and making follow-up appointments for existing patients. Prepping and maintaining exam rooms. Ordering, stocking, organizing medical supplies as needed. Measuring and documenting vital signs. Reporting abnormal vital signs to the provider. Completing billing & insurance paperwork including prior authorizations. Assisting with examinations and procedures as needed by the provider. Blood draws and handling specimens. Ability to perform new patient consultations if needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Certified medical assistant preferred. Experience with EMR/EHR systems. Our clinic uses Tebra. Knowledge of medical records management and utilization management principles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, patients, and external partners.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
