Thrive Pediatric Nursing currently has an immediate openings for RN/LPN for Greenbrier, AR for Friday and Saturday nights. Excellent pay. This employee will provide skilled nursing care to a ventilator dependent pediatric patient. Care is always provided in a one-on-one setting, allowing the nurse to build long lasting relationships with their clients and make a tremendous difference in their quality of lives. We desire the following skills but will train you and help you grow your nursing skills and resume.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient, be able to perform, ventilator checks, trach care and suctioning

GTube care/feeds

Vital signs, Administer medication.

Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing.

Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures.

Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians

Palliative care.

Make recommendations that might improve the patient's quality of life.

Listen and respond to concerns or requests.

Other duties prescribed by physician and on clients care plan.

Qualifications:

Active Arkansas nursing license in good standing

Strong communication and time-management skills

Compassionate and friendly demeanor

Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.

Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
