THIS IS AN

OVERNIGHT SHIFT 3RD SHIFT SUN-THUR 10 PM- 6 AM

. Training will be on 2nd shift, 2 pm - 10 pm

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the press operator in setting up and running a flexo printing press.

Essential Job Functions

Must be capable of:

Working safely without endangering oneself or other employees.

Lifting 65 pounds.

Removing completed rolls from the press with the chain hoist and providing the operator with printed samples.

Inspect production (Printed rolls) at the rewind end of the press while the press is operating to ensure quality standards for color, registration, patch placement, and print are maintained to the standards for that job.

Cutting over rolls at the prescribed footage, Palletizing, Wrapping, and flagging or slabbing down of rolls that do not meet the quality standards.

Maintaining ink, glue viscosities, and levels.

Checking descriptions of paper rolls to ensure the correct material is supplied at the unwind, and preparing for splicing.

Understanding the production orders.

Maintaining written production and inventory usage records.

Work within HACCP/ SQF guidelines to ensure product safety.

Other duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
