Technical Service Representative- Copier and Printer Technician

Leading provider of managed print services vendor within Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Healthcare Printer Technician/ Technical Service Representative with break - fix experience to join our team! The ideal candidate will specialize in HP and Lexmark, copier, printer, desktop, and hand MFP repair. You will play a crucial role in providing on-site support and maintenance for one of the Nation's largest healthcare systems! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responding to service requests to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair software, networking, and hardware issues for HP and Lexmark equipment.

Preventative maintenance and calibration on a variety of HP and Lexmark copiers, printers, desktop, and hand MFP repair

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to copiers and printers and medical carts (i.e., paper jams, connectivity issues, and print quality concerns)

Install and configure new copiers and printers

Keeping accurate records of helpdesk tickets and service calls, including details of repairs, parts, and time spent on each service call

Ability to troubleshoot and think independently.

-Strong people skills; able to build and maintain professional, trusting relationships with client, Resident Team, and vendors; able to quickly and effectively learn the culture and uniqueness of the client environment and adapt to various personality types and reporting levels.

-Go above and beyond for the client. Provide exceptional follow up through personal phone calls and visits. Remain visible to the client, providing constant communication, and demonstrate a helpful, service focused attitude.

-Create and execute a proactive Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule; conduct PM on devices as required by repeat issues or problematic devices.

-Create and execute a toner sweep schedule and onsite inventory; perform weekly sweeps in and not limited to all 24-hour departments and offsite locations.

-Collaborate with the support team and escalate complex issues when necessary to ensure prompt resolution

-Staying up to date on the latest printer models, technologies, and industry trends

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

HP and Copier break fix experience and certifications.

Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role

Strong knowledge of medical devices, printer hardware, including printheads, paper feed systems, and maintenance kits

Familiarity with major printer brands such as HP, Canon, Epson, and Xerox, and ability to troubleshoot various models.

Must be able to problem solve, conduct written and verbal communications, read and comprehend technical information. High technical aptitude to master the functions and operations of multiple manufacturers' print, copy, scan, and fax devices; as well as, being diplomatic, superb listener, and a hands-on problem-solver. Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital. Knowledge of basic networking. Computer and analytical skills. Valid Driver License with a safe driving record. Must have reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed). Demonstrated repair and/or break/fix experience with printers. Demonstrate the mechanical inclination and skills necessary to effectively and promptly troubleshoot issues; able to identify the required actions to resolve.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds

Various immunizations and/or medical testing may be required at the company's expense as a condition of employment for any positions that work on-site regularly in a hospital or medical setting*
