Under general supervision, the Print Buyer II negotiates and coordinates the purchasing of print materials. The Print Buyer II researches industry best-practices to identify areas of opportunity for future projects and identifies and selects vendor partners complete print projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborates with internal customers to gather information and specifications for print requests Negotiates with print vendors to obtain the best rates to optimize the Company's annual print budget. Completes the purchasing of print materials from concept approval through completion. Implements the process of sending jobs out for bid, evaluating pricing and specifications, and awarding print jobs. Compiles records of items purchased or transferred and pricing. Creates purchase orders and verifies bills from suppliers and approves bills for payment. Resolves inquiries or questions from internal customers or vendors regarding print materials Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of three years of experience with purchasing print. This position also requires three to five years experience in buying, purchasing, and procurement with an ability to evaluate vendors and suppliers per Company standards. Must possess strong negotiation and time management skills. This position also requires excellent communication, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills. Intermediate level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary. Must have the ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, display a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.

Educational Requirements:

This position requires an Associates or Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Additional college level related classes are beneficial.

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
