Job Description

Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Software Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires demonstrable experience in the following:

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, Java, Spring, Springboot, Cloud technologies including Kubernetes Mainframe COBOL and related tools including Endevor, ALM and Xpeditor.
  • Relational and non-relational databases including IBM DB2, IMS DB, SQL and MongoDb.
  • Event-Driven Architectures, Rules Engines including Aion BRE, and Quality concepts and tools including BDD/TDD, Selenium, and Postman.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in COBOL mainframe, C#, and AION BRE.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for working in teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies, architectural concepts and principles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of layered solutions and designs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics and incremental delivery.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
