Job Description

Satori Health, LLC is a mental health treatment center in Van Nuys, California that provides: partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient (OP) services for co-occurring disorders.

Our IOP in LA provides treatment for mental health / dual-diagnosis. We believe in person-centered treatment that focuses on healing the whole individual.

Minimum Qualifications/ Requirements: M.A in a Behavioral Science (MSW, MFT, or PPS); must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Science (BBS); 2 years of experience with substance abuse population and 12-step model; 2 years sobriety if recovering.

Reports to: Clinical Director

Supervises: N/A

Basic Functions: Responsible to manage assigned clientcaseload. Maintains code of ethics and providestherapeutic services to clients.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Create preliminary treatment plan with Clinical Director for assigned clients. Initiates discharge planning upon admission for assigned clients and updates discharge plan weekly. Facilitates multi-disciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned clients (ensures inclusion of all treatment modalities/disciplines). Conducts individual therapy sessions for all assigned clients (at least weekly). Facilitates group counseling and client education sessions. Facilitates couples/family therapy sessions as specified in individual client's treatment plans. Facilitates legal commitments/court appearances. Coordinates all treatment services needed for assigned client case load. Communicates with staff in a collaborative team setting including weekly supervision meeting. Ensures client records for assigned case load are accurate, complete, and meet licensing standards in a timely manner. Support aftercare program by meeting with alumni on an as-needed basis (when approved by Clinical Director). Communicates with Utilization Review Department to update information necessary for insurance authorization- such as maintainingUR schedule & completing necessary paperwork. Be available by phone after hours for crisis and/or from CEO, CFO, Clinical Director, or Program Director in a timely manner. Facilitates ancillary services/ community referrals for assigned clients. Provides 1:1 supervision of at-risk clients or crisis situations per directive from supervisor & handling crisis situations appropriately. Conducts biopsychosocial on assigned day or when asked by Clinical Director and maintains appropriate level of care. Upholds standard confidentiality laws and practices that protect client identity and personal information. Fulfils other duties as assigned by Clinical Director.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
