Position Overview



The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the planning and pricing of customer work packages and programs for labor and materials requirements. This role will analyze project specifications ensuring that all cost-related decisions align with our financial goals. The Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting project planning and budget management.



Essential Duties

Review project plans and specifications to understand scope and skill, labor hours, and material requirements to determine the cumulative cost of the project. Collaborate with Project Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and other stakeholders to validate estimates and obtain necessary information. Prepare detailed cost reports and presentations for all stakeholders. Monitor project budgets and track costs to ensure adherence to estimates. Maintains history files of estimates versus actual amount on all programs to assist in future pricing. Conduct risk analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes. Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What you need:

Minimum

Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or High School graduate or equivalent. FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification. Two (2) years' experience in a pricing role for skilled trades. Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. EXCEL / MS Project) Proven ability to read and understand prints/technical work instructions Proven ability to estimate multiple skilled Job Cards/Tasks Must read, write and understand the English language.

Preferred

Two (2) years of experience working in aviation planning and/or maintenance pricing role Four (4) years of experience working in an aircraft technician position Engineering and Maintenance related background Occasional domestic and international travel is required, involving driving, and/or flying (< 10%).

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 20 pounds, climb stairs, bend, and stoop as necessary. Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required. Normal office environment where approximately 70% of work is performed in a sitting position. Frequent exposure to the outside hangar areas for meetings and employee functions for varying lengths of time.
