One for the largest premier printing companies in CT is busy. They are hiring an experienced 1st shift Large Format Digital Press Operator. Responsibilities include: Operate flatbed and roll-to-roll large format UV inkjet printers to produce high-quality work. Record time and materials accurately in the shop floor data system. Laminate, cut, and package printed materials as assigned. Inspect finished prints for defects, color accuracy, and clarity, making adjustments as needed. Manage multiple print projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Perform preventive maintenance on large format equipment. Troubleshoot technical or mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Minimize waste and maximize output through efficient press setup and material use. Communicate production-related issues clearly to supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow. Qualifications include: 2 - 4 years experience operating large format digital presses (flatbed and roll-to-roll preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed job tickets and production instructions. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and color accuracy. Basic computer proficiency and ability to record production data accurately. Excellent time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities. Strong communication skills. Desire to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative print environment. Work well with production team members. Day shift 8am - 4pm. Starting salary range $50,000 - $58,000 + benefits, 401k match and relocation assistance.
