Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of presses, including stamping and flexo presses, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, precision measurement, and manufacturing processes to maintain efficient and safe operations within our facility.

Duties

Set up, operate, and monitor different types of presses such as stamping presses, flexo presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC programming, and CAM programming tools. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Utilize CAD software and SolidWorks for tooling design and modifications as needed. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment including press brake machines, CNC machines, and welding equipment. Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with assembly line teams for seamless production flow and packaging processes. Assist in fabrication, tooling adjustments, and assembly tasks as required.

Experience

Proven experience operating industrial presses such as stamping presses or flexo presses within a manufacturing or factory environment. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC programming, CAD design, CAM programming, and blueprint reading. Hands-on knowledge of machining processes including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, welding, and fabrication techniques. Experience with quality control tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Prior warehouse experience or materials handling skills are advantageous. Mechanical knowledge combined with factory experience in manufacturing facilities is highly preferred. Ability to work with hand tools efficiently on assembly lines or fabrication tasks while maintaining safety standards.
