The Press Operator position operates assigned Flexographic printing equipment to create a label product which meets the customer's specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Operate press and run print jobs. Set up press to run print job. Read, understand and follow production work orders. Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates. Produce label product which meets the quality standards. Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment. Maintain equipment and identify raw materials and tooling. Accurately report production numbers daily. Conduct quality checks of finished product. Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process. Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed. Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.

REQUIRMENTS:

Machining or related work experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for shift. Mechanically inclined. Ability to learn and train. Attention to detail. Good basic math and measurement skills. Dependable
