Mississippi Laser is currently seeking a skilled
Press Brake Operator
to join our dynamic team and support our growing operations.:
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, or form, steel, stainless, or aluminum parts according to customer provided blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brake machines according to job specifications Interpret blueprints and work orders Measure and inspect finished pieces for accuracy and quality using calipers, gauges, and other tools Make necessary adjustments to machine settings for accuracy and efficiency Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred 2+ years of experience operating a press brake (CNC experience a plus) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment
