Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating press brake machines, as well as familiarity with various CNC machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of our metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the appropriate machining processes. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications. Perform CNC programming for CNC press brake. Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques to assist in the assembly of components. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise, performing basic maintenance when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CNC programming. Knowledge of general machining practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use various hand tools effectively. Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
