Job Overview
Eugene Montessori School has been educating children since 1962. Our quality early education program serves children 3 - kindergarten. We are looking to fill the position for a full time Teacher's Assistant.
Duties
Includes but is not limited to assisting and supervising children in the hallway, setting the tables for lunch, tidying the bathrooms, helping in the nap room and light cleaning tasks. Monday through Friday during the academic school year, 8:00 - 3:30.
Requirements
Registration in the Oregon Central Background Registry. Possess or have the ability to earn Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification, Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect certification, Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety, Foundations for Learning and Oregon Food Handlers certification, as well as completing a minimum of 15 clock hours of training in early childhood education annually.
Applicant needs the ability to display a positive attitude towards, children, staff and parents with good listening and communication skills.
