Summary

Winamac Early Learning Academy (WELA) is more than just a preschool--we are a community of passionate educators dedicated to nurturing the next generation. We are looking for a warm, energetic, and caring preschool teacher to join our WELA family. In this role, you will be a daily part of the magic of childhood, helping to create a safe, engaging, and joyful environment where children can learn and grow through play. Duties

Duties:

Implement age-appropriate curriculum to promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of preschool children Follow engaging lesson plans that incorporate various learning styles and promote active participation Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment Implement behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational program

Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
