Job Description

The Treasure Chest Learning Center is an established and accredited Preschool program. We currently have a position available for a Preschool Teacher. We are looking for a professional who can assist in maintaining a safe, nurturing and fun learning environment. This position is full time Monday-Friday. The hours include 9:00am - 6:00pm. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for caring and teaching in the 4/5 year old classroom. Responsibilities will include assisting and creating a foundation in our children's education as well as social and emotional development. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

*Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.

Provide enriching and age appropriate hands on activities.
Keeping the classroom a safe/clean place for learning and fun.
*Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

PRESCHOOL TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

Highschool Diploma
Current Washoe County Sheriff's Permit
1 year classroom experience

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
