Job Overview:
As a Preschool Teacher at The Chalkboard Preschool, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young minds can thrive. You will be responsible for implementing a curriculum that promotes holistic development and fosters a love for learning in our students.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with The Chalkboard's play-based curriculum
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual educational needs
- Incorporate activities that cater to diverse developmental stages and accommodate children requiring special attention
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent workshops to enhance teaching practices

Skills:
- Proficiency in standardized testing procedures for early childhood education
- Experience working with young students in a classroom setting
- Strong background in literacy education for preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child welfare principles and practices
- Ability to create effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
- Prior experience in toddler care and childcare settings
- Familiarity with Montessori or other progressive teaching methodologies
- Understanding of early intervention strategies for young learners
- Proficiency in math concepts relevant to preschool education
