Duties

Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods and other pedagogical approaches. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities to support holistic development. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment. Provide individualized support for children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services. Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth in toddlers and preschoolers. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate children's progress and develop strategies for continued growth.

Skills

Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and childcare best practices. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities across diverse learning styles. Skilled in behavior management techniques that foster positive classroom environments. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to adapt teaching approaches for toddlers, preschoolers, and students requiring additional support such as tutoring or daycare services.
