Overview:

Community First Solutions, Colonial School is looking for Preschool Teachers to join our team!

This Teacher will be responsible for providing an enriching atmosphere where a child can grow and develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually through play and work with his/her peers.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safety, supervision, direction, and needs of children. Responsible for communicating with parents. Responsible for assisting Lead Teacher with lesson planning and implementation of lessons within the framework of the school's curriculum. Promotes academic, social, emotional, and physical wellness for children. Promotes a positive image of Colonial Schools. Maintains training and educational requirements for employment. Attends lesson plan meetings, monthly staff meetings, and other special events as planned. Responsible for knowledge and adherence to ODJFS licensing rules and guidelines.

Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older OR have high school diploma Must have High School Diploma plus 45 in-service hours earned Early Childhood Development over a three-year period. Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, preferred CD classes must be renewed every 3 years. * 10 hours of approved step up to quality training each
