Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lessons, promoting childhood development, and ensuring the well-being of each child in the classroom. The position is Monday-Friday and 40 hours a week and will eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons that align with educational standards Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies Foster communication skills among students through interactive activities and group discussions Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with parents and guardians to support child welfare and development Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices Represent the program with professionalism and respect both on campus and in the community

Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma but Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
