Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning in areas such as math, literacy, and physical education. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Plan and conduct daily lessons that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide children's actions. Assess and document children's progress through observations and assessments, providing feedback to parents as needed. Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to child development. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with early childhood education trends.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience in daycare or preschool settings is essential. Strong knowledge of child development principles and behavior management techniques. Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschool-aged children. Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles. A genuine love for working with young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
