Preschool Assistant Teacher

We are hiring two Preschool Teacher Assistants and a substitute teacher to join our friendly teams. We are looking for caring individuals with the availability to work flexible hours in the range of: Monday through Friday 9:30 am -3:30 pm. In addition we offer a substitute position with a flexible and independent schedule.

Montessori Children's House is a privately owned Preschool in Bozeman, MT., located very close to MSU, with 3 age-separated classrooms for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. At the time you would be working in a team with one to two other teachers in the classroom .

Qualifications:

A friendly nature, patience and love for young children Experience caring for young children Knowledge of best practices as well as the ability to engage young children and earn their trust Communication and listening skills to converse with children, fellow preschool teachers and parents or guardians Enjoy working in a child care team Flexible and open-minded Enjoys spending time outside Will pass a background check

Tasks:

Maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children. Performing creative and educational activities Preparing and feeding snacks and lunches Maintaining a clean environment for small children Demonstrating a compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for children
