Are you passionate about art, sensory play and working with young children? Do you love the magic of the creative process and believe that art is about exploration rather than the final product. If so, we'd love for you to join our team as a Piglet's Playgroup instructor.

About the Role:

Piglet's Playgroup is a process-based art and sensory play class designed for children age 1-4 and their caregivers. As an instructor you will facilitate engaging, hands-on experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity and messy fun!

What we're looking for:

Outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic individuals who love working with young children and their caregivers. Someone who understands process art is about the experience, not the outcome. A love for sensory play and a willingness to embrace (and clean up!) the mess that comes with it. Reliable, organized and able to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. Ability to guide caregivers in supporting their child's creative exploration.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate process art and sensory activities in a fun, engaging and supportive way. Set up and clean up materials before and after each class. Encourage creativity, exploration and play without focusing on the final product. Communicate with caregivers, making them feel welcome and involved. Ensure a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Schedule + Availability:

We are hiring for both weekday and weekend positions, with flexible scheduling available. Applicants must be available for a mix of morning and early afternoon shifts.
