Pre-Press Specialist

to join our production team.

Position Overview

The Pre-Press Designer plays a key role in preparing client artwork for print production. This role requires strong design and RIP software skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Review, adjust, and prepare customer files for large-format printing. Ensure artwork meets specifications for size, bleed, color mode, and resolution. Check for errors, missing fonts, and other potential production issues before sending to print. Collaborate with the production team to ensure files are print-ready and meet quality standards. Modify or correct artwork when necessary while maintaining the client's design intent. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Understanding of print production requirements (color profiles, bleed, resolution, file formats). Previous experience in pre-press or print design (large-format preferred). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with RIP software and large-format printers. Knowledge of printing, cutting, and finishing processes. Familiarity with sign industry materials and substrates.
