Job Description
Monsignor Slade Catholic School, located in Glen Burnie, MD, has openings for part-time and full-time Pre-K2 and Pre-K3 child-care teachers/aides beginning immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching and management of a group of children ages 2-3 years old. Job Responsibilities:
- Plans, implements and supervises activities appropriate to the age level of the children in the classroom or group.
- Attend staff and parent meetings as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Maintains visual and auditory supervision at all times to ensure the safety of the children in the classroom, on the playground, and on field trips.
- Must be able to lift, carry and hold children up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain communication with families.
- Participates in recommended training programs, and workshops to include CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Emergency Preparedness, Orientation, and Communications.
Qualifications:
- Have completed a high school diploma or GED.
- Have completed the 90 hour course (6 semester hours or AA/ECE) for preschool
- Meet all requirements of MSDE, Office of Child Care.
