Job Description
St. Agnes Catholic School, located in Catonsville, MD, has 2 openings for a full-time Pre-K teaching assistant for the 2023-2024 school year. Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning, implementing and supervising activities appropriate to the age level of the children in the classroom or group.
- Attend staff and parent meetings as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Maintains visual and auditory supervision at all times to ensure the safety of the children in the classroom, on the playground, and on field trips.
- Must be able to lift, carry and hold children up to 50 lbs.
- Participates in training programs and workshops to include CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Emergency Preparedness, Orientation, and Communications.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
- Have completed the 90 hour course (6 semester hours or AA/ECE) for preschool
- Meet all requirements of MSDE, Office of Child Care
- Practicing Catholic preferred
- Must be comfortable with technology integration utilizing Chromebooks and G-Suite applications
- Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of a state and federal background check, completion of VIRTUS Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
