Kiddie Time in Marlborough is looking for Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. Our Lead Teachers are classroom leaders who inspire children and teachers alike to learn and grow. They are passionate about educational excellence, and confident teaching children and adults.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Basic expectations for Lead Teachers are to:

Lead, Mentor and Coach less experienced teachers and help them grow in their career. Set a good example and make decisions that support both teachers and children Keep Children Safe: Supervise children, keep your classroom clean and tidy and Comply with and help teachers learn and follow licensing regulations related to child care in your location. Mandatory Meetings: Attend Professional Development Days, center staff meetings, and any meetings outside of your regular schedule that are required by your Center Director.

Skills, Education, and Experience

Required

Minimum 2 years Early Childhood Education Experience - EEC Certified Must meet state's education criteria Demonstrated effective communication skills Participates in recommended training programs, conferences, courses or other CPR and 1st Aid Certifications, or willing to obtain Speak, read, and write English fluently Basic technology skills (e.g. email) Optional: Have active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
