Pre-K Counts Teacher (Long Term Substitute): Bloomsburg, PA This is a long-term substitute teacher position for the start of the 2023-24 school year for the CSIU Pre-K Counts program located at the Central Columbia Elementary School in Bloomsburg, PA. This Responsible for managing all aspects classroom instruction and activities for Pennsylvania state-funded Pre-K Counts program with enrolled children ages 3-4.
Wage: $125.00 per diem rate. This is a temporary, non-benefits eligible position following a 5-days per week, 6-weeks schedule to cover the leave of absence of a full time employee. The anticipated start date is August 22, 2023 to end early October 2023. There is a possibility the assignment may be extended a few additional weeks if needed.
Education, experience and skills: A minimum of Bachelor\'s degree is required. A valid Pennsylvania Early Childhood N-3 or Pre-K-Grade 4 teacher certification required. Must have interest and concern for children and families. Ability to accept cultural diversity. Flexibility to accommodate changing caseloads and deal with stressful situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
